Over the past six months, the City collected data for the Housing Trends Analysis. This Analysis seeks to identify gaps in housing needs, considering cost, size, and type. This information will help Plano guide future community investment to meet our housing needs. Over 3,000 Plano residents and members of Plano's workforce participated in the process by completing an online housing survey. The City also met with neighborhood leaders, non-profit organizations, and members of the business and development community to gather input on Plano’s housing challenges and opportunities from an economic perspective. The Executive Summary can be viewed on the Housing Plan page of the Neighborhood Services website, and the final report will be presented at the City Council Preliminary Open Meeting on Monday, November 12, 2018 at 6:00 PM.
