Help Count the Homeless in Plano

Homeless Count

Do you want to be a part of Plano’s annual Point-in-Time Homeless Census? On the evening of January 24, 2019, teams of volunteers and Neighborhood Police Officers will spread out across Plano to survey persons experiencing homelessness and provide care packages that include information on local resources. Data collected during the census advises local and regional strategic planning efforts on the current needs of people experiencing homelessness and contributes to the overall Homeless Count for Collin and Dallas Counties. The information collected from both counties is also shared with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Volunteer registration and care package drive information will be available on the Collin County Homeless Coalition website on December 3, 2018. We look forward to your help in making this another successful count!
