2018 Spring Programs and Classes at the Library

Engage Spring 2018

A new selection of programs for learning, enrichment and fun is waiting for you! Plano Public Library has something for everyone, from the monthly Wonder Café series to Thinking Money to Year-round Storytime.

Thinking Money is a national initiative to give people the knowledge needed to make smart financial choices. Visit the exhibit and learn money smarts via an adventure-themed storyline and interactive iPad content. Go beyond the Thinking Money exhibit and attend programs that explore what money looks like, how to become a financially independent person, and how to avoid fraud.

Join experts at the monthly Wonder Café series for a kid-friendly discussion of science, technology, design, biology and engineering behind everyday wonders. Think and wonder about what you could learn from your family tree, what you could do with sunshine, and how math is involved in keeping information secure. Reinforce what you learn with hands-on activities.

Year-round Storytime starts January 8. Learning to read begins at birth and includes reading, talking, singing, playing and writing. Attending storytime with your child provides continuous learning opportunities to build skills for reading and school readiness.

See for yourself! Flip through the pages of Engage and learn about more programs and classes; all free at the library!
